Ok, so mid-cycle I started to have some dark brown blood and it lasted a week, not super heavy like a period but enough for a panty liner sometimes. I keep think of the comment by Charles Barkley about college sports "If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin' ". Don't college (student) athletes still get preferential treatment over the the regular student?. Aren't there still $100 handshakes and other things that go on. The NCAA can't control all of these things. If they did, the only schools that wouldn't be on probation are probably Ivy League schools. I think the NCAA punishes some schools to give the appearence that they have it under control.

After personal experience as well as ..well, seeing things on TV and whatnot, I've come to realize that no matter how stupid a woman may be acting, there will always be some white knight who feels the need to defend her despite her behavior, even if it's just from someone telling her off or putting her in her place. I was watching a movie (I can't remember which one,) and the woman was whining about a bad food order. She started making a scene, screaming profanities at the waitress, throwing her napkin across the room, and when the (male) restaurant manager came out to explain that her behavior was unacceptable and whatnot, this, for some reason, really aggrivated and upset her boyfriend, who stood up from the table and asked the manager to speak politely to the "lady'. Do they ume that they're going to get a lay out of the deal or what? Is my boyfriend the only man who wouldn't put up with my acting like an immature spoiled brat? I am starting my own orchestra...I am 13 years old. In this orchestra, I will have 6 violins, 4 violas, and 3 cellos. This is a orchestra where I have to specially invite others to audition. I will have 12 violins try out, 8 violas, and 6 cellos try out for this Orchestra. We will be performing at coffee houses monthly and take trips. However this orchestra is a privilege. You must be a dedicated student. I am charging a $50.00 fee to enter into this orchestra. The reason being is to buy shirts embroidery with our logo and to buy music and supplies they may need. This club is a small middle school ensemble, grades 7-8, performing a variety of musical styles, with the focus on orchestral music throughout centuries. We will preform at special community events. Do you think $50.00 is fair, considering they will have a lot of performance experience, both group and individual? We would also be recording ourselves to see what we can approve on. If you are good enough say probably a 10 hdcp or lower then it should come back easily. A lot of people when they miss a big period like that without any practice at all don't hit very good. Keep going to the range and hitting u will get to be how u were and it is partly because its winter (unless u live in the lower states) and u don't hit as good, but when u have breaks like that just practice ur swing a few time a day.

What cheer shoes are best for flyers?

At first I was going to get nfinity evolution but then i looked up ADIAS CHEER FLYER shoes and they are made for flying and have a good grip/arch for grabbing my foot in heel stretches. Female left pain, could it be cardiac?

Hi. i'm 31year old female. For the last 2 days i've had a pain that came on suddenly in my left . It comes and goes in waves, and feels like a dagger is being squeezed into that area. Around the nipple or just above. I never felt pain in that area as strong, although i have had previous small niggling pains in that over the last few months. About 6 months ago i had an ecg, heart echo, and stess test (on treadmill) done and everything was clear although i was found to have etopic beats but heart specialist said they were harmless. I only got these tests done because i was suffering from palpitations at the time, never pain....Do u think this pain is heart related. I quit smoking January 1st, but the weight gain started around April, I have switched birth control pills and switched back in the last 3 months, I went to the dr. and have a blood test that read dangerously high choresterol levels(on Crestor now), I started having flashbacks of ual abuse which Im seeing a therepist for and dealing with, quit my job due to ual harrment. I went from 95lbs -4'11" - 120lbs and counting. After the first 10lbs I thought with all Im gooing through I dont need a weight issue as well. I have changed my diet to eating more fruits and vegetables, exercise 3 times a week, wholegrain etc...i used to eat lots of fast food, boxed and canned stuff without reading labels and now that Im more concious, Im seeing alot of hydrogenated oils and such in foods I used to eat- they are supposed to be really bad for you ive read but maybe they help you lose weight and lower chorelesterol??? seems fishy- anyways, any suggestions will be appreciated ty

You need to do something about your food. You need to eat the appropriate amount for your weight. My biggest problem (5'2 and weigh around one sixty) is the way I eat, if I eat too little, I blow up like a balloon. Cramping and now spotting?

What is wrong with my '95 Ford Taurus' brakes?

I just bought this 1995 Ford Taurus GL 3.0L with all wheel disk brakes and the brakes are really squishy... My first instinct was that the brakes needed bled. I checked the fluid and it is at the MAX level. So i went to the back and found the bleeder, loosened it up and had a friend pump the brakes, only to have NO FLUID come out at all... I took the bleeder all the way out and had him pump the brakes again, still no fluid. This is the same for both rear calipers. The car is kinda rusty, could this have seized something up? I guess the real question is do you think it is the brake lines or the calipers? What is the easiest method to determine the issue? What do you think could be wrong?

I just switched strings on my Ibanez GAX70. Earlier it had D Addario strings. Now I have Erinie Ball super slinky. When I pluck the low E, it buzzes. Before it didn't do this, and it only does it now when it's open. Not on any frets. On my old guitar, a squire strat, it did the same thing and evenually went away. Is this normal?

How to persuade my parents to let me stretch my ears?

What are some ways to convince my mother and dad to allow me to begin stretching? My mom's super religious and was pondering allowing me to get a second lobe piercing (she has 3 but the latest 2 she got in college) and my dad just thinks everything I do/wear makes me look like a slut (honestly, even capri pants make me look like one according to him xD.) I'm a relatively good kid; this year as a freshman I ended the year with a 3.9 and the semester with a 4.5 GPA. How do i get along with this new supervisor?

I worked for a supervisor just like this one at another job, now i work with the state and i have run into this same personality. They both have the same characteristics, they like to joke now and work later, they are very inappropriate speaking of es and vibrators and other ual things at work, and for some reason they both dont seem to take a liking to me. My 9 month old cries when it's time for bed!?

She was recently able to go down on her own for a couple of months, then about 2 months ago she went through a week of night terrors. After that horrible experience she went back to going down by herself again. Out of nowhere about 2 weeks ago she started screaming her head off when we would put her to bed and she'll only go to sleep if we rock her. I dont know what to do it's put a ripple through our nightly routine! And now that she can stand on her own as soon as she's in the crib she pulls herself up. Any advice would be great! To me, there is something very wrong with saying that those who have gone through very difficult times and have not gotten the help they needed go to hell even after all that they have endured, while all of us fortunate enough to be "happy" go to Heaven for even more "happiness". Certainly every human being suffers moments of sadness in their lifetime, but for those who suffer unending amounts of it, how is it fair that they go to hell for trying to escape? I dance and walk alot but my diet isn't great?

Its taking about 5 minutes for it bring up the Yahoo front page when first switched on. I have took out all the history and any temporary files. I have also de-fragmented it and run it though AVG and nothing untoward was found. A quick check on my broadband speed showed a10800 kbps download speed and 811 kbps for the upload speed. Timothy hay as bedding?...?

I have a 4 week old degu that I've been hand raising...I have him in a small hamster cage at the moment..and I have had a heating pad wrapped in a towel on the bottom of his cage turned on 24/7 to keep him warm. How can I make my once curly hair curly again?

So. I had curly hair. It use to be long and I found that the thickness and length would weigh the curls down. From the roots to midway down the hair shaft I would have straight hair and then it would go into ringlets. Everytime I cut my hair (above shoulder length) my hair never curls. I use curling products and a diffuser and even a curling iron but it just doesn't curl. It also doesn't stay straight but goes . I mentioned this to my stylist and when she styled my hair (product, then a diffuser) it curled. But me? not so much. Any help?

hi, i bought 3 sugar gliders on may, 28, and i was just wondering when they should be fully bonded. like is there an estimated time when they SHOULD be bonded, or when the latest time that they would be bonded to me? or if theres a certain amount of days/months that if theyre not bonded by then, that they may never be bonded to anybody at all? yes, i know how to take care of them, so please dont give me advice on their diet, stuff like that. Theres a guy I know who has recently became very muscular and he says he doesnt go to the gym or lift traditional weights. But you're not so crazy as some of these other posters might have you think -- as a clical musician at a conservatory studying to be a professional, I can tell you that I have NEVER seen a piece actually written in A-sharp minor; I'm not saying they don't exist, but there's a reason that composers don't write in keys like that -- it IS much easier to write in the enharmonically equivalent key, B-flat minor. E-sharp major and a Gx dim chord do exist, but more often in theory workbooks than in real pieces of music (when they are in real music, they are typically not frequently-used chords).

my husband is in the air force and years ago we were about 15 grand in debt and we used genus or genuis credit management to help with our debt they cut the interest they didnt close the account but basically cut the interest in half and we paid genius..and they paid the company...it didnt affect his military career at all...but it did give us a slightly higher interest rate on a car we bought...since then we got out of debt totally other than cars and a house...no credit card bills...we did not pay anything for two years into an account though so im not sure what kind of company you are looking at..our interest reduction started within three months...but reducing your debt by 40 to 50 percent sounds like they are charging off your debt and you will pay for that in the long run with higher interest on cars houses etc.

I have been married to my husband for almoust 2 years now, we have been together for 3 years. When we were dating we told each other some stuff about our previous relationships. The problem is not children who are merely riding on the sidewalk; the problem is the parents who let them race on the sidewalk. The racing would be dangerous on the street or the sidewalk for the same reasons. The racing should be kept to an empty parking lot, etc. Riding on the street at a reasonable pace while looking out for those ahead is NOT a problem. If a child isn't old enough to do that, then they shouldn't be riding the bike in public yet anyway.

Has anyone else experienced a funky adjustment period when their soldier comes home?

My guy went off to training in June and just got back from training a few days ago. And we've been bickering since he got here. For us...we're not married yet, we're fresh out of college and still living at home. So the adjustment wasn't a matter of him coming in to my world where I'd gotten used to running things and trying to change stuff up (although I do admit, I am having to get used to him being here again). It's more so about his schedule. He's only here for two weeks, he doesn't see his family every day, he hasn't seen his friends in 6 months. And for me, at first, I really felt put on the back-burner, as if I was being treated as an after-thought. I guess I had over-romanticized his homecoming, and when things didn't go as I expected them to, there were a lot of hurt feelings, and I found myself snapping at him, getting angry at him over small things, just overall wanting to get away from him. And he may have ruffled my feathers a little, but it just didn't warrant that kind of response. I've recently come to a few realizations about me and him and us, and am slowly understanding that y'know, I'm gonna be here anyway, he only has two weeks to spend with them. It's not all about me anymore, he's not here every day like he used to be, and so there are a lot of adjustments that come along with that. It's our first long time apart, so I'm not a veteran yet who knows how to deal with all this, I'm still learning. But I wonder if anyone else has experienced this funky transitioning/adjustment period before? In any situation, with a returning soldier? I feel like when we got into it, everyone cautioned us about how to deal with deployments and being apart for months/years, but no one really prepared us for what it would be like when our men and women came home.

Why is today's world a confusing place when you are difference?

As a black man, I always wondered why most black people seem to have a lack of understanding towards others who seem to be different mentally and physically. In addition, I feel I am judge more harshly by the same ethic group based on my physical features other than my personality. For instance, I remember when I was in high school, I would be teased and pick on because my clothes didn't have a popular name brand, or I had no hair. Would it be worthwhile to pursue legal action for a drainage tube left in my son's leg after surgery?

My son had knee surgery yesterday. He had a lateral release of the patella(?). When he was in recovery before they sent him home, the nurse pulled a drainage tube out of incision site. The leg was wrapped with a bandage that went from his thigh to his ankle. The tube was originally sticking out of the bandage at mid-calf on the outside of the leg. The nurse indicated the site where the tube went into the leg would clot and stop bleeding. A few minutes later as we got him dressed to go home, I noticed blood coming from the site where the tube had been removed. Keep in mind, he had knee cap surgery which required two small incisions on his knee. I asked if there was an incision on the side of his calf since it was bleeding there. The nurse replied, "yes, it will stop with pressure". She got some gauze pads and held pressure on it for a couple minutes. It didn't seem to really stop. The doctor happened to walk by and the nurse asked what she should do. He replied, "wrap it up."
