Open E string buzz guitar?

I just switched strings on my Ibanez GAX70. Earlier it had D Addario strings. Now I have Erinie Ball super slinky. When I pluck the low E, it buzzes. Before it didn't do this, and it only does it now when it's open. Not on any frets. On my old guitar, a squire strat, it did the same thing and evenually went away. Is this normal?
