The real truth about Reno NV downtown?

Reno is no exception when it comes to hit by the economy and casinos are more quieter than a couple year ago. I stayed at Harrah's several times a year and I can guarantee you the rooms are no smaller than before, I mean they did not shrink the rooms. What makes you think Indian casinos are not affected by the economy? Reno downtown is not "the strip" in any sense so I don't really walk there, therefore it makes no difference now if you have your own car to drive around. On the other hand there are many more retail stores newly opened over the last couple of year, there is a new shopping mall in Sparks.
